In 1997, the Meursault-Genevrières Baudot vintage rung up the highest sales: indeed the
auction price reached 1,449,000

Although this vintage did not beat the historical 1985 record, in which year the Pommard
Cyrot-Chaudron was sold for 2,200,000
Francs, it is
nevertheless one of the five best sales of the Hospices to date.
