weather during summer was mild all along the harvest, allowed great
maturity. The Hospices de Beaune
experience in mastering the yield was once again demonstrated,
through a constant quest of even better quality The 2000 vintage in its
youth reveals fresh fruits
fragrance, ripe and silky tannin in the Pinot noir grape variety for the
red wines ; density, grace and refinement for the Chardonnays.
It
will be a vintage of character, born from the marriage of the
soil and the climate with the wine.
